Itakura (板倉町, Itakura-machi? ) It is a town in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, located in the central part of the island of Honshū, in the Kantō region .

Echigo Province (越後国, Echigo no kuni) was an old province in north-central Japan, on the shores of the Sea of Japan. It bordered on Uzen, Iwashiro, Kōzuke, Shinano, and Etchū Provinces.

Terukane: てるかね

Tamahagane 玉鋼 very fine quality Japanese traditional antique forged work.

Condition:
Kogatana blade: Very good condition, the polishing is not recent so it shows slight and usual black superficial stains, there is no rust or any other damage.
Shirasaya is a modern work in excellent condition.
